Guidelines For Applicants
Eligibility Criteria For Admission

The following are the eligibility condition for admission to:
 
B.A./B.Com./B.Sc. (Non-Medical & Medical) – 1st Semester

1. It is essential to qualify any one of the following examinations:
 
a) 10+2 Examination (Haryana Board) or
Any other Examination equivalent to the above mentioned examination, recognized by Kurukshetra University or
Diploma in Pharmacy/Diploma from Polytechnic or any other Diploma awarded by Technical Education Board, Haryana of not less than two year duration/diploma awarded by other state board of technical education recognized by All India Technical Education Board/Pharmacy Council of India, English as one of the subjects in qualifying examination.
 
b)
  • 33% marks in the qualifying examination for admission in B.A., but B.A. with Computer Science, 10+2 with Math/Economics having 40% marks is required.
  • 40% marks in the qualifying examination in Science Group with English for admission in B.Sc. (Non-Medical & Medical) is required.
  • 40% marks in the qualifying examination for admission in B.Com. for Commerce Students and 50% marks for Non-commerce students is essential.
A candidate who has failed in Semester-I and II shall be promoted to the III Semester as the case may be only if he/she has got exemption in the paper(s) mentioned below :
 
From Part I (Semester I & II) If he/she has appeared in Semester II and has
To Part II (Semester III) Cleared at least 50% papers of Semester I & II


Provided that a candidate who has appeared in Semester I & II examination but fails to exam exemption in at least 50% papers, or having been eligible fails to appear in the examination for valid reasons i.e. Serious illness, Serious calamity like death of father or mother etc. shall be admitted to III Semester provisionally subject to the condition that if he/she is unable to earn exemption in at least 50% papers of part I (Semester I and II) by the next supplementary examination, his/her provisional admission to the III Semester shall stand cancelled. The provision shall also apply to the promotion of a candidate for Part-II.
